Background
Well, I don't really know much about this game, but I would give the sound based on the arcade a 7/10. The backgrounds are very distracting and mess you up very easily. They also, go too fast and it could really hurt your eyes. I don't recommend playing too close to the screen. You could get a seizure.
Sound
I would rate the sound a 7/10. The sound is not blended very well. You hear too much melody, like in Dance Dance Revolution Max. The music is very distracting. I personally don't like the sound that much, or the music itself.
Value
For this game, I would only pay about 20-30 dollars for it. It is not the best game ever. I would probably buy it for the Playstation 2 though. I like to play a variety of DDR songs, not the same ones from old games over and over again. There are a few good songs on there. There are not the best songs in the world to choose from, but otherwise, the game is not half bad.
Overall
For the game Dance Dance Revolution Max 2, I would rate the game a 6/10. The songs are just okay. I am not a huge fan of the songs. Not my favorite. Some good songs are Afronova and Candy. There are not really any more songs I like. The graphics are pretty good, and so are the backgrounds. I don't really own the game, so I don't really know much about it. If I knew more about it, then I could have maybe a better rating. Man, my mom should really get me a Playstation 2.
I recommend this game to people that don't really like that many songs, and that only like a few of them. They can get to them faster because there are not many songs on this game. I don't recommend this game for beginners because there is no beginner mode.

Background
I would rate the background an 8/10 because I think they should be 3d graphics instead of 2d. I am so used to playing games in 3d. Otherwise, I think the background is pretty good.
Sound
I would rate the sound a 10/10 because you can hear them pretty dang well. The sound quality is pretty good. you can hear the songs with this nice clarity (it's not too fuzzy or anything) therefore, I would give it a 10.
Value
Well... I'm not good at estimation or anything. I think however it's priced right now is fine. ok... well... it probably takes a bit of programming to do a game like that, so maybe around the range of $25-30.
Overall
I will give the overall a 9/10. It's really fun. It keeps you entertained, and it's good exercise. If there was some kind of storyline or something I would probably give it a 100/10.
