Graphics
I would like to rank the graphics of the game Dance Dance Revolution an 8/10. The backgrounds are good, but some of them are a bit weird. They could get distracting at times, causing you to mess up. I really like the backgrounds otherwise though. Some of them are really plain. Some of them are really annoying. For example, the Rhythm and Police background is very annoying and distracting.
Sound
I would like to rank the sound a 7/10. The sound is pretty good. You can't really hear the bass parts in the music. You can hear way too much melody. The sound is not blended well enough. Otherwise, the sound is very good.
Value
I would think this game is pretty worth it. I would probably only pay around $25 for it, since it was one of the first Dance Dance Revolution games made. It is a pretty good game though. I would play it a lot.
Overall
I would rank this game Dance Dance Revolution Max an 8/10. It has all of the good songs like Ecstasy and Rhythm and Police, but the rest of the good songs, like Max 300 and Afronova are very hard to unlock. You have to complete very hard songs on heavy that only insanely good people can do, or you will have to play a lot of songs, which isn't that hard. The background for the songs isn't that good either. Overall, the game is pretty good.
I recommend this game to anyone. It is a really good game, although I have seen better. I especially recommend this game to people who are just starting. This is the game that I started on, and it really helps you get better. Although there isn't a beginner mode on this game, it is still good for starters.
